Pisces Fish bar in Shrewsbury

"Absolutely brilliant. I am very fussy with battered fish, if it is greasy or soggy I won't touch it. I often have to leave it as it gets soggy after a while as I'm a slow eater. However this fish bar did it perfectly, crispy all around, and stayed crispy so I could enjoy it slowly, loads of flavour. I couldn't recommend this place more. "Always had a great experience with Pisces Fish Bar. The quality of the food has always been to a high standard, and portions are great value for money. Via Just Eat, the deliveries have always been very quick with the food always piping hot. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a decent takeaway at a fair price."

"I love this place and its hard not to give them 5 stars because they are brilliant, however, the last couple of orders I've had haven't been as good as they once were. It may have just been an unlucky experience but basically the fish and the chips tasted old, and the gravy was cold. Also on Just eat, the order limit is quite high. Not a huge problem if you collect, or if you have a family all ordering However when I'm by myself I don't always want to order £12 worth of food. Overall though, this is the best chippy in Shrewsbury in my opinion. I just hope that my last 2 orders were just unlucky and not the start of decline in quality."

"I think this is a good food to fill your hunger especially pick-up (or go in) Mostly fresh and good qualities! (never tried delivery but I do recommend pick-up or go in if it is quite busy) I do recommend this place if you are most likely hungry and quite cheap as well, fair prices. Overall, Good place!"

"Nice little chippy! Very generous portion sizes and also very filling! Chips also weren’t half-done like they are at some other chip shops, they were nicely cooked and crispy which was a plus. Fish was cooked to perfection. Would go here again if I ever passed through!"
